This photo series was all taken during my first trip to New Orleans. Surprisingly I did not take many photos of the French Quarter which is known as the heart of the city. The other side of the city caught my eyes-- the bleak and desolate side of "The Big Easy" seemed to be neglected. Most tourists are drawn to the nightlife along Bourbon Street while I turned my lens towards Canal Street which divides the French Quarter from the other parts of the city.
